Importance of Papamochani Ekadasi
Papamochani Ekadasi, as mentioned in the Brahmanda Purana, is known as the “Liberator from Sins”. Observing fasting on this day removes all past sins and helps attain Moksha. It is believed that Lord Krishna narrated the significance of this Ekadasi to King Yudhishthira, stating that observing it destroys the negative karmas accumulated over lifetimes.
